My name is Bridget O’Meara and I am a research engineer with the group. I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State in 2015. After a post-doc at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Morgantown, WV, I returned to Penn State in 2018 and I have been in my current role as a research engineer ever since. My work focuses on opto-mechanical design, thermal modeling, and alignment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside with my family.
